NEVER ASHAMED NEVER ALONE” COMING APRIL 2015!!! In “Never Ashamed Never Alone,” I will share how important it is to love yourself, will teach you Cognitive Mirror Therapy, I also share tips on managing disorders and stressors that are present in our everyday lives. Tips that can help you live a happier, more stress free life. I also teach what I do with my own son to edify, uplift, and build his confidence within himself so he too will be as ready as he can be to enter this world, which can be pretty evil at times. I share with you many things in this book that are very harsh and were deeply painful. Learning to love yourself is the first step of true deep-rooted healing and living a life without abusive cycles. Self love is the most important part of breaking abusive cycles as well. This is a book about what Cognitive Mirror Therapy is, and how to use it, learning the wisdom of deep healing, and how to love yourself the way God does. Understanding the need for deep-rooted healing is vital for stopping and preventing abusive cycles. Coming to terms with our own abuse, unhealed heart, soul, and mind so that we can be healed deep within, while giving us the ability to raise our own children so they too can thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally. My desire is to shade some light on overcoming overwhelming odds, my own techniques, which God has shown me for deep-rooted healing from abuse, and sharing with the hurting that you are not alone, nor do you have to be ashamed of who you are or what you have been through. Our abuse or disorders do not define who we are. They are merely things we have to manage or heal from but are not what makes us the precious person God has made us to be, although God will use all of it for His glory. Please open your heart and mind as you read about some of my own experiences of abuse, my own self-abuse, and how God helped me truly understand deep healing, not just surface healing. ‘Never Ashamed Never Alone’ was a really great, inspirational book. It is a self-help book that many people can relate to, including me; in fact I was rather surprised at how much I had in common with Shawna. While some of my situations weren’t nearly as bad as hers, I to had lost quite a bit of myself and my worth and did not know what to do about it.
This book was a great step by step guide to doing Cognitive Mirror Therapy to start helping you recover and rebuild. I think it was properly written with the author sharing plenty of her own past and experiences to teaching others how to get to the healthy point that she has.
The topics discussed in this book are very serious and many may find them very emotional. I personally found myself crying or tearing up at certain things that I had either gone through or could relate to. I believe that this book can certainly help many people out there, especially ones that are too afraid to ask for help, like I was.
It says all it needs to say in the title, ‘Never Ashamed Never Alone’ with this book you don’t have to be ashamed of your past or habits you have picked up because of it and you are never alone because you have others backing you and you have all the guidance you need to become a new you,
A fantastic and encouraging read from Shawna and I cannot wait to read more of her work.
